The wall behind the stove should be assessed together with the appliance and the materials under the finish. HT Fireboard can perform the described protective tasks, but the sheet itself does not define the parameters of the complete protection. Start from the equipment requirements and the wall section drawing.
Check the substrate before trimming
Vitcas HT Fireboard is a heat-resistant board, different from a regular gypsum sheet. The card describes its applications and preparation. Record what is located behind the planned surface, even if it will be completely covered.
Cooker requirements include placement, access, and proper spacing. The resistant board does not change them automatically. Also check areas exposed to water and the anticipated method of cleaning the visible surface.
Choose the fastenings for the entire system
Fit the sheet and mark the edges and holes needed for service. HB60 has described applications in compatible panel-to-substrate connections. The choice of adhesive should correspond to the installation documentation, weight, and condition of the wall.
Do not accidentally close a detail that requires movement or later inspection. The cut should maintain the intended support and geometry. If the substrate is loose, gluing the board does not confirm the durability of this connection.
The finishing has its own instructions
Heat Resistant Plaster is also described as a smooth finish for properly prepared HT boards. Check the specified face of the sheet, priming, and layer thickness. Do not use any finishing compound based solely on colour similarity.
Follow the required setting and drying stages of the products used. Take photos before covering the fastening and record the layer names. When later replacing the stove, return to the device conditions, as a similar outline of new equipment does not confirm identical wall heating.
